Where we celebrate the real, relatable, and a little bit messy homeschool experience, together!
Hi! I am Kim, the founder and president of TBHC Group. Those who know me best know me as a starter. From a thriving homeschool community group, to a visionary farmers market, to a successful homeschool support network, I focus on building community and bringing people together.
Let me introduce you to the team...
The Faces Behind the Mission

Hi, Kim here again! I believe in the power of connection, collaboration, and shared experiences. When I am not organizing events or supporting local homeschoolers or planning my family's next field trip (AKA vacation), you can find me playing games or doing a puzzle with my husband and kids, dreaming up new ways to strengthen the homeschool community, or enjoying a (hopefully hot!) cup of coffee while digging into a good book.

Courtney is the co-founder and finance director of TBHC Group. As a devoted boy mom, she’s no stranger to adventure—whether it’s cheering from the sidelines at a game, spending time on the water with her family, or tackling the many moving parts of homeschooling and community building. Passionate about creating opportunities for homeschoolers to connect and thrive, Courtney played an instrumental role in founding TBHC Group.

Megan is our graphic design specialist. She transforms visions into reality, helping connect and inspire homeschool families. When she’s not crafting the perfect campaign or designing something beautiful, Megan is building Lego or going on adventures with her boys and enjoying trips up north to visit family. Her passion for community, creativity, and connection shines through in everything she does.
We believe in the power of connection, collaboration, and shared experiences.
We are so excited to bring you this blog. TBHC Collective: The Blog is just one more way that we can support homeschool families in their journeys. This space is where you can share your own journey, celebrate the wins of others, and find encouragement in the everyday moments of home education.

What to Expect at The Collective
At TBHC Collective, you will find a little bit of everything:
Inspiring stories
Practical tips
Book lists
Field trip ideas
Family-friendly recipes
And much more!
We’ll also highlight businesses that champion our homeschooling community, helping us all stay connected and supported. Are you looking for encouragement, fresh ideas, or ways to network with like-minded families? You’ll find it all here!
This is more than just a blog—it’s a collective, a place where we learn, grow, and thrive together.
Be sure to subscribe to our email list so you never miss a post filled with inspiration, tips, and local homeschool happenings. And let’s make this space fun—drop a comment below with your funniest homeschool moment (because we all have SO many!). Whether it’s a toddler re-naming a historical figure, a science experiment gone rogue, or a creative “interpretation” of math time, we’d love to hear it! Let’s laugh, learn, and grow together.
Welcome to the journey!
